Greeting cards
Each bespoke handmade greeting card is individually made and they can be personalised
with your own greetings and personal photograph.
You will have a choice during the order to choose your own card size, format, background
colour, greeting and photograph. All cards will have a coloured background with
photograph(s) mounted on quality card and edges are bevelled cut to give an attractive
thin border of approx. 0.1cm on each side of the photograph. The coloured card will have
a subtle texture with a luxurious feel. Every handmade card will be supplied with an
envelope and protected in a cellophane sleeve.
To view available background colours used to make the greeting cards, click here. If there
is a particular colour you would like to see on the greeting card, email me with your details
using the ‘Contact Us’ form.
Some images created for greeting cards will be slightly cropped to adjust to the format and
size of card. It will depend on your chosen card size/format.
If there is a photograph on my website, which you would like printed as a greeting card,
just email me with the title or details of the photograph.
General Guidelines for Bespoke Greeting Cards: Please write your greeting in the message
box before proceeding with checkout page. If no message/greeting is left, then the order
will proceed as having ‘no greeting’ selected.
If supplying your own photo/image to be printed for handmade cards, please upload your
photo(s) before the checkout stage.
All greeting cards, which require a greeting on the front, will be place above or below the
main photo where appropriate. If the greeting is to be embedded into the image, then this
will be clearly indicated in the product description.
If you have a specific card size/format, please contact me for a quote.
Images shall be placed on mounting card with a bevelled border, unless otherwise
indicated in item description.
If any of the background colours selected for greeting cards are currently unavailable, an
alternative colour shall be used. An effort shall be made to ensure the matching colour will
be close as possible to the colour chosen by the customer.
Drawings and Paintings
High quality drawings and paintings are usually done from a photograph provided by the
customer. The drawing or painting can be done at A5, A4 or A3 size. Pictorial drawings
at other specific sizes are welcome. Please contact me with your specific details.
If you would like a copy of the drawing/painting as a handmade greeting card, an optional
choice of a picture pack can be purchased. These are available in multiples of 3, 5 or 10
greeting cards. A choice of background colours can be selected - please email for an initial
quote.
General Guidelines for Pictorial Drawings and Paintings: Please upload your own photo(s)
for me to draw from. Clear photograph(s) showing much detail as possible in respect of
texture, colour, size, materials and shape of object are required. If possible, please
indicate which photograph will be the main photograph and any extra photographs shall
be used as a reference. Photographs may be supplied by post or email and any hard
copies shall be returned with the drawing upon completion of order.
When submitting a photograph to draw from, please ensure it is sharp and best possible
quality. Photos taken with mobile phones are not always suitable due to low quality;
however, you can supply additional photos to support the main photograph.
Depending on size, complexity and intricacy of the drawing, please allow 10 working days
from receipt of your order and allow an additional 2 – 3 days for delivery. Larger orders
such as A2 size, can take up to 4 weeks or more to complete while smaller commissions
i.e. A4 size usually take about a week to complete. All completed drawings and greeting
card packs, if selected, shall be sent on First Class Recorded delivery. If the drawing is
required sooner than 10 working days, please contact me.
Photographic Prints
Colourful images are available to be printed at A5, A4 or A3 size. Mounted prints are
available as an optional choice as well as mounted and framed. If you would like the print
to be framed (with mount), please contact me with your details for an initial quote. Any
photograph can be printed, mounted and framed upon request.
Images are taken from a wide range of subjects/themes. If you are seeking a specific
photograph, please contact me as I may have this available in stock.
Commissioned photographic projects are welcome. Please contact me for further details.
General Guidelines for Photographic Prints: Each image will be printed large as possible
on the selected paper size, with the longest side first.
When supplying your own photograph, they must be of highest possible resolution to
obtain a good quality printout from the size selected. 300dpi is the minimum resolution
recommended. Prints from mobile phones are possible but not advisable due to low
quality.
Other colours are available on request for mounted photographs. Contact me for other
available colours. Mount sizes will vary according to photo print size. The maximum
available size is 500 x 400mm. The fixed size of 500 x 400mm will be used for mounting
A3 photographic print.
A framing service is available for mounted photographic prints. Please contact me for a
quote.
Due to the fragile nature of framed glass pictures, these will ideally have to be collected in
person.
