Once again, Selby Abbey is holding a summer craft and gift fair.

Many craftspeople will be selling their unique and handmade craft items, perfect as a special gift for a family member, relative or friend. Craft stalls include hand knitted baby clothes, textile products for home and office, wooden toys, framed photographs, artwork, drawings and paintings and greetings cards, to name a few.

As usual, there will be photographic greetings cards of Selby and surrounding areas, plus images of flowers taken at Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens, all handmade by myself. New card images for this year include Selby Abbey in the snow.

A portfolio of my previously commissioned artwork of drawings and paintings will be available to browse through.

The craft fair will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Entrance is free.

In addition to this event, there will be Selby’s popular annual Food and Drink Festival held on the Market Place and along James Street between 9.30am to 5pm.

There will be plenty of street food and bars with a wonderful variety of local specialist producers of food and drink. Throughout the day, there will be a Cookery Theatre with Nigel Brown where he will provide food demonstrations and tasters.

We look forward to seeing you there.
