I’ve some fantastic news to share with you today. Last Thursday evening at the local camera club, I gained first place with Round Two competition for my colour print of Wilfred Owen sculpture taken at night in the North Bay of Scarborough.
The dramatic night sky with the moon breaking through the clouds make for a moody atmosphere in this photo of Wilfred relaxing on the bench.
Wilfred Owen (18th March 1893 – 4 November 1918) was an English poet and soldier. He was also one of the leading poets of the First World War.
